Urban Litter Fox 2 - Original painting
10% of sales go directly to one of our chosen charities that help fight plastic pollution.
About this design
This is the second fox painted in this collection. I painted it on a packet of Pom-Bear crisps I found whilst litter picking around my street. Someone enjoyed them for a few minutes then discarded the packet ready for me to snatch up. I left all the dietary info on for the new owner as a kind of art time-capsule for the product.
I found this reference from an amazing photographer on Instagram, @Fredrikkemi from Sweden. You really need to see some of his other photographs. He is very gifted at his craft and is so lucky to live near such a wealth of wildlife and nature.
In recent news: You can now recycle your soft plastics at 1,500 Co-op stores across the country. They are also aiming to offer this service at another 800 of our stores by the end of 2021. This is a good shift in the right direct and as I do believe we should be starting with the source of the issue first - making the product packaging from something more sustainable, you cannot turn your nose up at positive movement. Hopefully, I will see less and less art canvases floating across the street.
Free delivery (in the UK) 100% recycled/ recyclable/ biodegradable packaging.
This piece comes pre-mounted to fit 8X6 inch frames.

+ About the collection
Urban animals and the litter they live with
All of the litter canvases are picked by me on one of our litter picks. They are then sorted, cleaned and sanitised before being given a second life and home. I paint some of my favorite urban animals such as foxes, hedgehogs and magpies with plans for many more. Each piece is glued to recycled card and then fitted to an 8X6 inch white mount ready to be put in a frame of your choice, or add a frame on as an option.
