About this design
Painted on the back of a Pom-bear packet found in the hedge on the local common area. I thought the shiny side of this packet would be a perfect fit for a shiny object hoarding magpie.
Most crisp packets are sadly non-recyclable but a few of the bigger brands like KP Snacks and Walker are working with TerraCycle until a better solution is reached. There is just under 4000 drop off points around the UK or within 4miles of 80% of UK residents so at least there is a plan of action. Alternatively, you can opt for plastic-free packaged crisps or make your own! Another amazing way to recycle your crisp packets is to create or donate to a charity that creates survival blankets for the homeless like the guys over at Iron Man Survival Blankets #ironmansurvivalblankets. They are a great team with an amazing cause!

+ About the collection
Urban animals and the litter they live with
All of the litter canvases are picked by me on one of our litter picks. They are then sorted, cleaned and sanitised before being given a second life and home. I paint some of my favorite urban animals such as foxes, hedgehogs and magpies with plans for many more. Each piece is glued to recycled card and then fitted to an 8X6 inch white mount ready to be put in a frame of your choice.
+ Delivery
Your origional artwork will be packaged within a recyclable hard backed envelope to keep them nice and safe. I post all orders within 2-3 working days from London, UK but try to do them as soon as humanly possible. If you need your order any sooner than this, please let me know when you check out, and I will try and post it sooner for you. Please let me know during checkout if this is a gift and I will be happy to add a gift note for the recipient with your special wishes.
