+About the Design

Part of the Eco-Worrier collection.

I was inspired by the editorial piece I found about a dead whale that washed up in the Philippines had 40kg of plastic bags in its stomach.

Plastic is a huge problem. Between 4.8 and 12.7 MILLION TONNES of plastic enter our ocean each year. Some of these enter as larger pieces and look a lot like food to marine animals which end up blocking their stomach and leaving them to starve. It is heartbreaking to see, but the world is slowly waking up to the dangers of plastic on all living things.

This piece was created with mixed media; Watercolour, acrylic, coloured pencil crayon and highlights are white gel pen. I enjoy creating environmental, political pieces.

+Delivery

Your print will be packaged within a recyclable hard backed envelope to keep them nice and safe. I post all orders within 2-3 working days from London, UK but try to do them as soon as humanly possible. If you need your order any sooner than this, please let me know when you check out, and I will try and post it sooner for you. Please let me know during checkout if this is a gift and I will be happy to add a gift note for the recipient with your special wishes.

Conditions of return

Buyers are responsible for return postage costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
